Spectators: 6699 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1699, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Vilhelm Holmberg got the match started through his kick off. Nybro IF's Sture Widberg got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vilhelm Holmberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 9th minute, Axel Utfal made a precise shot to the right of Patric Norström. Nybro IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. If Sture Widberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Sture Widberg got free in front of the goal in the 17th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Samuel Holmgren was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 22nd minute by Axel Utfal got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Nybro IF's Patric Norström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Nybro IF from getting a goal against them. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nybro IF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rudolf Jelm was slow to take the kick. During this time Brastad IK's players had a chance to rest. Brastad IK's Rudolf Jelm was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Patric Norström in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Vilhelm Holmberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nybro IF's Christian Sävström got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Patric Norström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vilhelm Holmberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Axel Utfal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 38th minute Vilhelm Holmberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patric Norström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute, Verner Lundström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Axel Utfal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vilhelm Holmberg in the 42nd minute of play forced Nybro IF's goalkeeper Patric Norström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vilhelm Holmberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Patric Norström having to make a save.

The crowd rose to their feet as Sture Widberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Samuel Holmgren. That made the score 1-1 in the 56 minute of play. In the 67th minute of the match Brastad IK got a corner. Nybro IF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rudolf Jelm ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Vilhelm Holmberg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Patric Norström quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Axel Utfal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patric Norström having to interfere. If Vilhelm Holmberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Brastad IK booed when Nybro IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonny Hedlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rudolf Jelm in the 76th minute of play forced Nybro IF's goalkeeper Patric Norström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patric Norström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vilhelm Holmberg went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Sture Widberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Samuel Holmgren made a huge save. Patric Norström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vilhelm Holmberg in the 90th minute of play. Axel Utfal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 95 minutes into the match, Nybro IF's goal looked a bit too open when Vilhelm Holmberg came free, but Patric Norström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute, Vilhelm Holmberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patric Norström was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Ove Asklund kicked well hit freekick during the 101st minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Brastad IK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
