Spectators: 5100 (Terracing: 4050, Seating: 1050, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sebastian Wennerström got the match started through his kick off. Patrick Asklöv struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Wilhelm Valler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Slottsbron BK. Joseph Aleberg scored 1-0 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stellan Hedvall, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thor Abrahamsson in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilhelm Valler saved Nordic Legion from getting behind. In the 29th minute, Joseph Aleberg reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Stellan Hedvall. The goal made the score 2-0. Sebastian Wennerström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sebastian Wennerström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stellan Hedvall read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thor Abrahamsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Nordic Legion's Jörgen Bolander seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jörgen Bolander the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Nordic Legion protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jörgen Bolander had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 52nd minute, one of Nordic Legion:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Nordic Legion. Roy Broman shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 58th minute Joseph Aleberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stellan Hedvall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joseph Aleberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stellan Hedvall having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Slottsbron BK's zone, Gustav Hedlund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stellan Hedvall came out of the goal and Gustav Hedlund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stellan Hedvall came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Nordic Legion's Joseph Aleberg. But to his dismay, Joseph Aleberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Stellan Hedvall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joseph Aleberg in the 82nd minute of play. Joseph Aleberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rune Lundgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Slottsbron BK defense, Rune Lundgren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stellan Hedvall. The Slottsbron BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stellan Hedvall should have stopped the shot. After 93 minutes, Georg Bure mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nordic Legion and the Slottsbron BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 93 played minutes Nordic Legion got a freekick which was hit by Georg Bure. Stellan Hedvall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Georg Bure in the 96th minute of play.
