Spectators: 7177 (Terracing: 5485, Seating: 1682, VIP seats: 10) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ludvig Gummeson started the match with the kick off. Jim Mattsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mattias Byström, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 18 minutes into the game, Dyrön IF's Per-Åke Larsfelt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valentin Ekberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. If Håkan Asklöv had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mattias Byström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Håkan Asklöv received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Jim Mattsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Per-Åke Larsfelt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Ekberg having to interfere. Per-Åke Larsfelt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Valentin Ekberg made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Per-Åke Larsfelt got free with Valentin Ekberg in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mattias Byström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mattias Byström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jim Mattsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Håkan Asklöv made the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, BK Beerklunkers's goal looked a bit too open when Ludvig Gummeson came free, but Valentin Ekberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivan Samuelsson kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Per-Åke Larsfelt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dyrön IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. With a little luck, Dyrön IF's Jim Mattsson got control of the ball when Mattias Byström tried to sneak it across the goal line. Håkan Asklöv sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Dyrön IF booed when BK Beerklunkers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Asmundsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tobias Jelm kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After having played for 88 minutes, Mattias Byström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BK Beerklunkers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mattias Byström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ludvig Gummeson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Dyrön IF fans cheered their team off the field, for while BK Beerklunkers had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
