In the 33rd minute, Göran Browald hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Magnus Almstedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ingvar Ånger in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ola Kellberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Ingvar Ånger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dag Näver could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Uno Löfgren made a huge save. 46 minutes into the game, Ingvar Ånger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
