Hakenäset IFK's Alfons Gadd got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 8 minutes, Alfons Gadd managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hakenäset IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfons Gadd was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sven Rang recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 11th play minute Alfons Gadd came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Uno Löfgren. 1-0. The supporters of Enkel vinst FF booed when Hakenäset IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens-Erik Olsmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Melker Helander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Magnus Almstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes into the game, one of Hakenäset IFK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Enkel vinst FF a penalty, 24 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rolf Ljungberg, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Hakenäset IFK's Melker Helander. 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexander Simonsson during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Enkel vinst FF getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Alexander Simonsson hit a great ball. Alfons Gadd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Uno Löfgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Melker Helander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Magnus Almstedt in the 43rd minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Magnus Almstedt was the one to do the kick off. The long shot by Rolf Ljungberg in the 58th minute really tested Melker Helander's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 62 minutes into the match, Enkel vinst FF's goal looked a bit too open when Sven Rang came free, but Uno Löfgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Uno Löfgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven Rang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Niklas Brolin hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Alfons Gadd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uno Löfgren having to interfere. In the 79th minute Sven Rang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uno Löfgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute, Hakenäset IFK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Magnus Almstedt fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Melker Helander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Magnus Almstedt in the 95th minute of play. Enkel vinst FF's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
