In the 14thth minute of the game Simon Bergström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Landvetter's Karl-Johan Pihlblad was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Karl-Johan Pihlblad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Bergström in the 21st minute of the match. Jan-Ove Wik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ivar Fagerberg's late challenge caught a Landvetter's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. In the 91st minute Per-Oskar Petersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Ove Wik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Per-Oskar Petersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frans Lang in the 95th minute of play forced Gunnebo's goalkeeper Jan-Ove Wik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gunnebo's goalkeeper Jan-Ove Wik, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
