Jan Sundling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulf Nord in the 8th minute of the match. When Edward Eliasson came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Södra Vi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edward Eliasson couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Södra Vi's Ulf Nord slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jan Sundling. That made the score 1-0 after 14 minutes of play. Isaac Ennegren spun around in front of the goal 17 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Västerljung's goal. 19 minutes into the match, Västerljung's goalkeeper Jan Sundling had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ulf Nord. Ulf Nord fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Sundling having to interfere. Jan Sundling took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulf Nord, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Södra Vi's zone, Carl Kellbom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jarl Drake came out of the goal and Carl Kellbom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Västerljung's Jan Sundling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulf Nord in the 35th minute of play. If Isaac Ennegren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan Sundling stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ulf Nord's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Ulf Nord sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the match, Västerljung's goal looked a bit too open when Ulf Nord came free, but Jan Sundling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

In the 57th minute Ulf Nord shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Sundling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
