After a defensive mix-up in Rotenäs BK's zone, Ronny Kalfhage stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gottfrid Nordin came out of the goal and Ronny Kalfhage tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Stavsjö FF's Ulrik Forsberg in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rotenäs BK's goalie prevented a goal. After 8 minutes, Ulrik Forsberg made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Rotenäs BK's Gottfrid Nordin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Stavsjö FF's Gösta Axelsson got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 14th minute, Stavsjö FF's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Christer Sjöberg fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ulrik Forsberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Gottfrid Nordin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th match minute, Stavsjö FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gösta Axelsson to maneuver through the defense. Ronny Kalfhage struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Gottfrid Nordin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stavsjö FF. When Stavsjö FF's Ulrik Forsberg in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Rotenäs BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ronny Kalfhage was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Ronny Kalfhage fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gottfrid Nordin having to interfere. After 44 minutes, Gösta Axelsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stavsjö FF and the Rotenäs BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Ulrik Forsberg made the kick off in the second half. Wictor Dahlbom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bo Larsfält in the 55th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulrik Forsberg in the 57th minute of play forced Rotenäs BK's goalkeeper Gottfrid Nordin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Stavsjö FF's Ronny Kalfhage sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gottfrid Nordin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ronny Kalfhage sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 69 played minutes Ulrik Forsberg rounded Rotenäs BK's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulrik Forsberg in the 72nd minute of play forced Rotenäs BK's goalkeeper Gottfrid Nordin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christer Sjöberg couldn't finish the play. Bo Larsfält's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wictor Dahlbom read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. In the 77th match minute, Stavsjö FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Verner Engström to maneuver through the defense. Ronny Kalfhage could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Gottfrid Nordin made a huge save. Gottfrid Nordin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulrik Forsberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 84th minute Gösta Axelsson suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Filiph Dalberg fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rotenäs BK's protests and gave Filiph Dalberg a yellow card for diving instead. When Ronny Kalfhage came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Stavsjö FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronny Kalfhage couldn't finish the play. In the 89th minute of the match, Ronny Kalfhage got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gottfrid Nordin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Bo Larsfält sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stavsjö FF played a much better game than Rotenäs BK and deserved their victory. The Rotenäs BK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
