Spectators: 7303 (Terracing: 5478, Seating: 1680, VIP seats: 145) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jens-Åke Pihl started the match with the kick off. Harplinge IK's Rickard Rudkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Vassenius in the 3rd minute of play. Sven Emander made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Ted Biörkquist sent off a good shot on target. If Harry Gunnarsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sakarias Collin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Richard Vassenius put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Rickard Rudkvist. Märsta BF's Sven Emander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens-Åke Pihl in the 14th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Märsta BF's Kurt Dalgren got a free kick in the 21st minute. After 23 played minutes Märsta BF got a freekick which was hit by Kurt Dalgren. If Sakarias Collin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th match minute, Harplinge IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jim Olofsson to maneuver through the defense. Richard Vassenius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Rickard Rudkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Märsta BF's Richard Vassenius in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Harplinge IK's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Harplinge IK's Jens-Åke Pihl slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sven Emander. That made the score 1-1 after 39 minutes of play. 43 minutes into the match, Harplinge IK's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Vassenius came free, but Rickard Rudkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, Richard Vassenius made a precise shot to the right of Rickard Rudkvist. Harplinge IK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The Harplinge IK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Märsta BF were winning 1-2.

A hard shot 52 in the game by Sakarias Collin from a close distance when the talented Rickard Rudkvist managed to make a qualified save. Harplinge IK's players were relieved. If Richard Vassenius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Richard Vassenius was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 59th minute. Märsta BF's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 60th match minute, Harplinge IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ted Biörkquist to maneuver through the defense. Jim Olofsson charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jim Olofsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Märsta BF booed when Harplinge IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jim Olofsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sven Emander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens-Åke Pihl, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Edward Isaksson hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Richard Vassenius kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Richard Vassenius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Rickard Rudkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Harplinge IK getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Ted Biörkquist hit a great ball. Harplinge IK's Rickard Rudkvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Harplinge IK from getting a goal against them.
