Osvald Almqvist, 19 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 21st minute of the match, Jörgen Thorsberg got a very nice opportunity to score, but Anderson de Moraes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Rickard Rudkvist stood somewhat misplaced when Horia Brânzeu came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 65 minute. Horia Brânzeu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Rickard Rudkvist made a huge save. Rickard Rudkvist was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Melker Julin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 71 minute of play. Bayern Munchen's Horia Brânzeu got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Horia Brânzeu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rickard Rudkvist having to interfere. Bayern Munchen's Anderson de Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jörgen Thorsberg in the 91st minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Jens-Åke Pihl had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anderson de Moraes. Bayern Munchen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jens-Åke Pihl was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Bayern Munchen's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
