Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Bayern Munchen's Horia Brânzeu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Vaksdal IF booed when Bayern Munchen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horia Brânzeu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 7 played minutes Bayern Munchen got a freekick which was hit by Göran Björkdahl. After 7 played minutes, Vaksdal IF's Bengt-Rune Thorsberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Anderson de Moraes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vaksdal IF reached it. Anderson de Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christer Esbjörnsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Anderson de Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt-Rune Thorsberg in the 12th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Bayern Munchen defense, Peter Elg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anderson de Moraes. The Bayern Munchen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anderson de Moraes should have stopped the shot. Göran Björkdahl charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Göran Björkdahl the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 25th minute, Christer Esbjörnsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bengt-Rune Thorsberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Anderson de Moraes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carl Apelqvist during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Carl Apelqvist hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Anderson de Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Lenberg in the 29th minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, Peter Lenberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Anderson de Moraes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 34 minutes, Peter Elg made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Bayern Munchen's Anderson de Moraes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Bayern Munchen's Anderson de Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christer Esbjörnsson in the 40th minute of play. Anderson de Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Åke Mårtensson in the 44th minute of the match. Carl Apelqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Christer Esbjörnsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Peter Elg to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Christer Esbjörnsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vaksdal IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Christer Esbjörnsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anderson de Moraes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 54 played minutes Bayern Munchen got a freekick which was hit by Göran Björkdahl. Bengt-Rune Thorsberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 55th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Anderson de Moraes. Bayern Munchen's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A hard shot 56 in the game by Bengt-Rune Thorsberg from a close distance when the talented Anderson de Moraes managed to make a qualified save. Bayern Munchen's players were relieved. With a little luck, Bayern Munchen's Anderson de Moraes got control of the ball when Peter Lenberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 59th minute Bengt-Rune Thorsberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anderson de Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anderson de Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Lenberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Bengt-Rune Thorsberg took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Anderson de Moraes to make any attempt to save it. Peter Elg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anderson de Moraes having to interfere. In the 67th minute of the match, Peter Lenberg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Anderson de Moraes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After recieving a nice pass, Vaksdal IF's Bengt-Rune Thorsberg tried to score from far away in the 71st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 73rd minute, Vaksdal IF's Christer Esbjörnsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. If Peter Elg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 79 minutes into the game, Joachim Andberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Anderson de Moraes. Joachim Andberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. Anderson de Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Lenberg in the 82nd minute of play. If Christer Esbjörnsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bayern Munchen's defense didn't have a chance, in the 88th minute, when Bengt-Rune Thorsberg scored to the left of an out of position Anderson de Moraes, making the score, 0-8. Anderson de Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Lenberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Vaksdal IF's Bengt-Rune Thorsberg got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Vaksdal IF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bayern Munchen.
