Spectators: 7128 (Terracing: 5456, Seating: 1672, VIP seats: 0) Alvar Fogel started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Alvar Fogel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 8 minutes into the match, John Jelm had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andy Holmberg. Gråsmarks FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that John Jelm was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Vincent Fernström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Inge Rudkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Andy Holmberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. John Jelm took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andy Holmberg. Andy Holmberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, John Jelm managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malmö FF's supporters rose to their feet, but John Jelm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andy Holmberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alvar Fogel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Inge Rudkvist took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andy Holmberg. Andy Holmberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After 39 minutes, Jonny Kollberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gråsmarks FC and the Malmö FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jonny Kollberg hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Andy Holmberg came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Malmö FF's John Jelm. But to his dismay, John Jelm quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. John Jelm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Andy Holmberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Vincent Fernström made the kick off in the second half. Vincent Fernström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Andy Holmberg made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Gråsmarks FC's Åke Björklund got a free kick in the 55th minute. Torsten Vester's late challenge caught a Gråsmarks FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Torsten Vester helped the player get up and apologised. If Vincent Fernström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vincent Fernström scored 0-6 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andy Holmberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 82 minutes into the game, John Jelm recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Andy Holmberg. John Jelm showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. In the 86th minute of the match, Vincent Fernström got a very nice opportunity to score, but Andy Holmberg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 89th minute John Jelm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andy Holmberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvar Fogel in the 90th minute of play forced Malmö FF's goalkeeper Gösta Hammarström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 92 played minutes Gråsmarks FC got a freekick which was hit by Åke Björklund. John Jelm might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andy Holmberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. John Jelm ran back to his position shaking his head. Malmö FF's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
