In the 6th minute of the match Lucas Kruse sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Andy Holmberg skillfully saved the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Sandby IF's goal looked a bit too open when Alvar Fogel came free, but Samuel Klack reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sandby IF's Manfred Allbom got a free kick in the 13th minute. Elias Askestät received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Samuel Klack tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Samuel Klack made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvar Fogel in the 17th minute of play. Sven-Ove Kråk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alvar Fogel to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match Gråsmarks FC got a corner. Sandby IF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jens-Ove Almstedt ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jens-Ove Almstedt made a great header on Gråsmarks FC's corner, it was just that Sandby IF's Samuel Klack managed to reach the ball for a save. Alvar Fogel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 60 minutes, Alvar Fogel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gråsmarks FC and the Sandby IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sandby IF booed when Gråsmarks FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvar Fogel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andy Holmberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Ove Kråk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute, Lucas Törnblom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 73 minutes, Sven-Ove Kråk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sandby IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sven-Ove Kråk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 78 minutes of play, Gråsmarks FC's Alvar Fogel made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Samuel Klack was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lucas Törnblom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Andy Holmberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sven-Ove Kråk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 88th minute Alvar Fogel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Klack saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Sandby IF defense, Alvar Fogel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Samuel Klack. The Sandby IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Samuel Klack should have stopped the shot. Sandby IF's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
