Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vincent Fernström in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Samuel Klack prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 42nd minute, Bengt-Åke Kilman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Samuel Klack showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Jelm in the 45th minute of the match.

Sandby IF's players were relieved. 59 minutes into the match, Sven-Ove Kråk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gösta Hammarström.
