Stig Lundgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erland Billvall in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 4th minute, Tobias Jonsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 5th minute, Erland Billvall got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingvar Larsfält in the 8th minute of play forced Kilsmo IK's goalkeeper Joel Persson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tobias Jonsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Joel Persson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute of the match, Erland Billvall tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Stig Lundgren saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Bo Berglund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kilsmo IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Bo Berglund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stig Lundgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stig Lundgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bo Berglund in the 27th minute. When Kilsmo IK's Erland Billvall in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rydöbruk FK's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Kilsmo IK's Bo Berglund got a free kick in the 37th minute. Stig Lundgren made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Erland Billvall sent off a good shot on target. Ingvar Larsfält struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Joel Persson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rydöbruk FK. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erland Billvall was the one to do the kick off. Ingvar Larsfält blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joel Persson having to make a save. Stig Lundgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erland Billvall in the 61st minute of play. Bernt Blom hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After 71 played minutes Rydöbruk FK got a freekick which was hit by Johnny Lundgren. In the 72nd minute, Erland Billvall made a precise shot to the right of Stig Lundgren. Rydöbruk FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 77th minute Ingvar Larsfält shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Persson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute, Erland Billvall left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kilsmo IK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Stig Lundgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erland Billvall in the 93rd minute of play. Tobias Jonsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Kilsmo IK were victorious despite being under pressure from Rydöbruk FK for much of the match.
