Anthon Giöck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gottfrid Sandberg having to interfere. After 14 minutes of play, YNWA FC's Fredric Åkesson made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anthon Giöck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Jens-Ola Kaxe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Anthon Giöck came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Östmarks if fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anthon Giöck couldn't finish the play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roy Hydén was the one to do the kick off. Gottfrid Sandberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Stålman in the 63rd minute of the match. Gustaf Forssberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gottfrid Sandberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustaf Forssberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Jens-Ola Kaxe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gottfrid Sandberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. The audience was convinced that Gustaf Forssberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gottfrid Sandberg was relentless in the 88th minute of the game.
