The Åsunden FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Göran Alén came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Skärholmen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Göran Alén couldn't finish the play. In the 11th match minute, Åsunden FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrik Björkdal to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the match, Åsunden FK's goalkeeper Hugo Bolander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nils Nordstedt. Rutger Ståhlman struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Örjan Lund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Åsunden FK. Tim Sigman's late challenge caught a Åsunden FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tim Sigman helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th match minute, Skärholmen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tim Sigman to maneuver through the defense. The Åsunden FK fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Åsunden FK's Rutger Ståhlman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 25 played minutes Åsunden FK got a freekick which was hit by Ralf Eriksson. Hugo Bolander made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nils Nordstedt in the 31st minute. Örjan Lund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rickard Hellsing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Per-Erik Eriksson kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. The long shot by Jesper Bäckman in the 36th minute really tested Hugo Bolander's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Nils Nordstedts short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Hugo Bolander to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience was convinced that Göran Alén's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hugo Bolander was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. When Åsunden FK's Rutger Ståhlman in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rickard Hellsing made a kick off. Nils Nordstedt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hugo Bolander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils Nordstedt in the 62nd minute of the match. Rutger Ståhlman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Örjan Lund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Göran Alén in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hugo Bolander saved Åsunden FK from getting behind. When Ralf Eriksson fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Åsunden FK's protests and gave Ralf Eriksson a yellow card for diving instead. Ralf Eriksson hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. When Henrik Björkdal fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. In the 90th minute, Göran Alén got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Henrik Björkdal was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 91 minutes had been played. Henrik Björkdal kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The Åsunden FK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Åsunden FK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
