Jan-Erik Andersson took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Åke Rolfsson. Åke Rolfsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Carl Björklund who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Andreas Bergkvist when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Andreas Bergkvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victor Öberg's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Sven-Arne Landin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Åke Rolfsson having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Stenquist during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Vålådalen's Daniel Stenquist got a free kick in the 23rd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Landvetter's Thomas Giliusson broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Vålådalen's Andreas Bergkvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Vålådalen from getting a goal against them. Carl Björklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Victor Öberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andreas Bergkvist having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Vålådalen's goalkeeper Andreas Bergkvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carl Björklund. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Tomas Emander managed to get in a good position for a shot. Landvetter's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Emander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andreas Bergkvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sven-Arne Landin struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Åke Rolfsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vålådalen. Victor Öberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Landvetter players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vålådalen were winning 0-1.

54 minutes into the game, Landvetter's Victor Öberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andreas Bergkvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 68th minute, Vålådalen's Jan-Erik Andersson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. After 74 minutes, Tomas Emander mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Landvetter and the Vålådalen players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Vålådalen booed when Landvetter was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Emander didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vålådalen's Bernt Blomberg couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 75th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Landvetter. Andreas Bergkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carl Björklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Carl Björklund came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Landvetter fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carl Björklund couldn't finish the play. When Marko Olofsson fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vålådalen's protests and gave Marko Olofsson a yellow card for diving instead. Vålådalen:s Andreas Bergkvist showed great skill when he stopped Thomas Giliusson:s penalty. Andreas Bergkvist came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Landvetter's Thomas Giliusson. But to his dismay, Thomas Giliusson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Victor Öberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andreas Bergkvist having to interfere. Andreas Bergkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Öberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vålådalen's Sven-Arne Landin got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
