A collision led to SkåneFrakt getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Henry Grönlund hit a great ball. Michael Lindgren came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Östra Frölunda FK's Gilbert Adelsköld. But to his dismay, Gilbert Adelsköld quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 9th minute, SkåneFrakt's Jan Vennersten dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Emanuel Dahlqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Jakobsson having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilbert Adelsköld in the 15th minute of play forced SkåneFrakt's goalkeeper Michael Lindgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emil Jakobsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Vennersten in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Östra Frölunda FK's Karl-Johan Beckström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Michael Lindgren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gilbert Adelsköld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 30th minute, SkåneFrakt's Jan Vennersten ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Emil Jakobsson. Emil Jakobsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Jan Vennersten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gilbert Adelsköld fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Lindgren having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Vennersten in the 42nd minute of play forced Östra Frölunda FK's goalkeeper Emil Jakobsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 43 played minutes Östra Frölunda FK got a freekick which was hit by Rune Gregersson. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jan Vennersten made a kick off. In the 54th minute Karl-Johan Beckström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Lindgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Östra Frölunda FK booed when SkåneFrakt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Grönlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilbert Adelsköld did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-2 to the left of a surprised Michael Lindgren 56 minutes into the match. Gilbert Adelsköld was extremely unlucky when he, in the 66th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Emil Jakobsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Lindell, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. If Gilbert Adelsköld had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 77th minute by Karl-Johan Beckström got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Gilbert Adelsköld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SkåneFrakt's Michael Lindgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Johan Beckström in the 81st minute of play. Gilbert Adelsköld struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Michael Lindgren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Östra Frölunda FK. In the 87thth minute of the game Karl-Johan Beckström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SkåneFrakt's Michael Lindgren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Emanuel Dahlqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Östra Frölunda FK's Michael Lindgren threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Karl-Johan Beckström, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
