With a left leg Isidoro Jordy saved The Dons from getting behind. 32 minutes into the match, Vretstorp's Örjan Österberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isidoro Jordy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sture Alegren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marta Best in the 45th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marta Best made a kick off.
