The audience was convinced that Ingemar Wassenius's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ulf Mogren was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Dag Fors's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Reynaldo Naelio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Lennart Hegg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulf Mogren having to interfere. Ingemar Wassenius in the 12thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ulf Mogren, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Dag Fors charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dag Fors the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Skattkärr RK's Dag Fors got a free kick in the 20th minute. Zebastian Dahlkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Naelio having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ingemar Wassenius was the one to do the kick off. Egil Wennerquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Vidar Lindholm didn't get a good kick on the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Ingemar Wassenius had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ulf Mogren. Skattkärr RK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ingemar Wassenius was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingemar Wassenius in the 92nd minute of play forced Skattkärr RK's goalkeeper Ulf Mogren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lennart Hegg's late challenge caught a Skattkärr RK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lennart Hegg helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Muppin FC booed when Skattkärr RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leif Fredriksson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ingemar Wassenius in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ulf Mogren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Muppin FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
