After 30 minutes, Sivert Blomqvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Svibacka FC and the Muppin FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 30th minute, Sivert Blomqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Svibacka FC's Claes Melberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Svibacka FC from getting a goal against them. Egil Wennerquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claes Melberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingemar Wassenius in the 39th minute of the match. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kjell Åström to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Svibacka FC's Max Holmstedt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Reynaldo Naelio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Muppin FC booed when Svibacka FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kjell Åström didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ingemar Wassenius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claes Melberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingemar Wassenius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 98 minutes into the match, Jacinto Laurendi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Claes Melberg. Svibacka FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jacinto Laurendi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. There was no doubt that Muppin FC were the better team. Muppin FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
