Lars Mattsson came out of the goal and Simon Biörkman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lars Mattsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Westerberg in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Stig-Åke Askelöf reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sakarias Jelm. The goal made the score 1-1. After 32 minutes of play, Lums Stormtroopers's Gösta Pilblad made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sakarias Jelm was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 36th minute Stig-Åke Askelöf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sakarias Jelm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Simon Biörkman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gösta Pilblad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oscar Westerberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lars Mattsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sakarias Jelm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lums Stormtroopers. After some careless play in the Sir Ruuds Revansch defense, Walter Dalström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sakarias Jelm. The Sir Ruuds Revansch fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sakarias Jelm should have stopped the shot. Sakarias Jelm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig-Åke Askelöf, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Roy Dahlman's late challenge caught a Sir Ruuds Revansch's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roy Dahlman helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Sir Ruuds Revansch booed when Lums Stormtroopers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roy Dahlman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute, Oscar Westerberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 97th match minute, Lums Stormtroopers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conny Lundberg to maneuver through the defense.
