After a rather tough play, Klövers FC's Kjell Gustafsson got a free kick in the 3rd minute. 4 minutes into the game, Mathias Forsell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fengersfors RK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Klövers FC the free kick. A collision led to Fengersfors RK getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Mathias Forsell hit a great ball. When Mathias Forsell came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Fengersfors RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mathias Forsell couldn't finish the play. 8 minutes into the match, Klövers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hannes Björkdal came free, but Sebastian Hamberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fengersfors RK's Bo-Erik Ahlquist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Fengersfors RK from getting a goal against them. Sven-Oskar Askstedt received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bo-Erik Ahlquist came out and tried to block the shot, but Sven-Oskar Askstedt slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 32nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Fengersfors RK's zone, Jonas Drewitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bo-Erik Ahlquist came out of the goal and Jonas Drewitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nils Stål hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Sven-Oskar Askstedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bo-Erik Ahlquist was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and Jonas Drewitz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jonas Drewitz really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Klövers FC's Sven-Oskar Askstedt got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Sven-Oskar Askstedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mathias Forsell stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jonas Drewitz's late challenge caught a Fengersfors RK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonas Drewitz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 51st match minute, Klövers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Drewitz to maneuver through the defense. Bo-Erik Ahlquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Drewitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute Sven-Oskar Askstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bo-Erik Ahlquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Sven-Oskar Askstedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Gustav Strömberg came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Klövers FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustav Strömberg couldn't finish the play. Klövers FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
