In the 8th minute Olov Ahlstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mattias Fastesson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute of the match Västra FC got a corner. Toinho United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Mattsson ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 11 played minutes Hans Högström rounded Toinho United's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Sven Ahlberg was extremely unlucky when he, in the 22nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 23 minutes into the match, Toinho United's goal looked a bit too open when Hans Högström came free, but Mattias Fastesson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th match minute, Västra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valter Duset to maneuver through the defense. Ingvar Benet charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ingvar Benet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 27th match minute, Toinho United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingvar Benet to maneuver through the defense. Hans Högström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Toinho United's Mattias Fastesson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans Högström in the 35th minute of play. Valter Duset could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Mattias Fastesson made a huge save. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

If Sven Ahlberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hans Högström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Mattias Fastesson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hans Högström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Västra FC's zone, Ronny Eskilsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frank Danielsson came out of the goal and Ronny Eskilsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frank Danielsson had in the 85thth minute some difficulties stopping Daniel Eskilsson's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 86th minute, Toinho United's Ronny Eskilsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Frank Danielsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingvar Benet, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 94th minute of the match Tomas Mattsson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mattias Fastesson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans Högström in the 98th minute of play forced Toinho United's goalkeeper Mattias Fastesson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hans Högström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 100th minute. Mattias Fastesson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Västra FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Toinho United to leave the ground with a draw.
