Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Martin Grelsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven Ahlberg in the 13th minute of play. After 17 minutes of play, Thoretz's Vincent Wassenius made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frank Danielsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 22nd minute Bror Lundin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Danielsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Hans Högström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Thoretz's zone, Sven Ahlberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Grelsson came out of the goal and Sven Ahlberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Thoretz's Petter Tingberg got a free kick in the 29th minute. Frank Danielsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bror Lundin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Thoretz's Bror Lundin in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Västra FC's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vincent Wassenius got free with Frank Danielsson in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thoretz's Bror Lundin got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Vincent Wassenius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hans Högström to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Västra FC's zone, Vincent Wassenius stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frank Danielsson came out of the goal and Vincent Wassenius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vincent Wassenius in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frank Danielsson saved Västra FC from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Västra FC's zone, Bror Lundin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frank Danielsson came out of the goal and Bror Lundin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frank Danielsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vincent Wassenius in the 61st minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Vincent Wassenius got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Bror Lundin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frank Danielsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bror Lundin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sven Ahlberg ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Hans Högström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Västra FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hans Högström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Grelsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Västra FC booed when Thoretz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filip Ahlrot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Västra FC's Frank Danielsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vincent Wassenius in the 85th minute of play. When Thoretz's Bror Lundin in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Västra FC's goalie prevented a goal. Frank Danielsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bror Lundin, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute.
