Spectators: 7253 (Terracing: 5441, Seating: 1668, VIP seats: 144) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Andreas Wästerberg got the match started through his kick off. Bispgården IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Bengt-Rune Berggren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Dahlgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Gösta Rosendal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sven-Ove Arenius was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. 31 minutes into the match, Bengt-Rune Berggren notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Sundsbruk's Jonathan Dahlgren. After having played for 39 minutes, Gösta Rosendal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sundsbruk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gösta Rosendal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roger Martinsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. A collision led to Bispgården IF getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Gert Friberger hit a great ball. Sven-Ove Arenius was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Alf Mikaelsson. If Roger Martinsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bispgården IF's Sven-Ove Arenius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gösta Rosendal in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th match minute, Bispgården IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per Skog to maneuver through the defense. Sundsbruk were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
