Mattias Fastesson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sven-Ove Arenius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronny Eskilsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Mattias Fastesson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt-Rune Berggren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 30 minutes, Ingvar Benet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Toinho United and the Bispgården IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Toinho United getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Ingvar Benet hit a great ball. 32 minutes into the match, Bispgården IF's Andreas Wästerberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mattias Fastesson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 34 minutes of play, Bispgården IF's Andreas Wästerberg made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mattias Fastesson was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Toinho United getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Ronny Eskilsson hit a great ball. Mattias Fastesson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andreas Wästerberg in the 39th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the game, Bispgården IF's Gert Friberger nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mattias Fastesson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4.

Toinho United's Ingvar Benet got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Toinho United's Mattias Fastesson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Toinho United from getting a goal against them. If Bengt-Rune Berggren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mattias Fastesson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ingvar Benet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes into the match, Toinho United's goalkeeper Mattias Fastesson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bengt-Rune Berggren. In the 83rd minute, Bispgården IF's Andreas Wästerberg ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mattias Fastesson. Mattias Fastesson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. 87 minutes in the game, Bengt-Rune Berggren fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Mattias Fastesson having to interfere. After having played for 93 minutes, Ingvar Benet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Toinho United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ingvar Benet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Bispgården IF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bispgården IF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
