Björn Ahlstedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sösdala's Nicklas Kleen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Björn Ahlstedt in the 7th minute of play. Långshyttan IK's Björn Ahlstedt got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 10th minute of the match Jörn Kiempe sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nicklas Kleen skillfully saved the ball. Nicklas Kleen came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Långshyttan IK's Rickard Pettersson. But to his dismay, Rickard Pettersson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 18th minute, one of Långshyttan IK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Långshyttan IK. Gustaf Alebäck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kasper Deckbergh, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The supporters of Sösdala booed when Långshyttan IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jörn Kiempe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fredrik Utter took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gustaf Alebäck. Långshyttan IK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Långshyttan IK's Rickard Pettersson got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sven Asklöv hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Rickard Pettersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Nicklas Kleen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 33 minutes, Maximilian Runberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Långshyttan IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximilian Runberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Sösdala defense, Rickard Pettersson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicklas Kleen. The Sösdala fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicklas Kleen should have stopped the shot. In the 38th minute, Rickard Pettersson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anders Smefeldt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gustaf Alebäck read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Sösdala's Kasper Deckbergh got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Långshyttan IK's Gustaf Alebäck got control of the ball when Anders Smefeldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Roland Kilstedt charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roland Kilstedt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 47th minute, Roland Kilstedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee gave Sösdala a penalty, 49 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fredrik Utter, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Långshyttan IK's Gustaf Alebäck. 1-2.

Anders Smefeldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Långshyttan IK's zone, Anders Smefeldt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustaf Alebäck came out of the goal and Anders Smefeldt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kasper Deckbergh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustaf Alebäck having to interfere. Gustaf Alebäck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kasper Deckbergh in the 69th minute of play. Kasper Deckbergh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Gustaf Alebäck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ove Wickander's late challenge caught a Sösdala's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ove Wickander helped the player get up and apologised. In the 87th minute, Ove Wickander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute of the match, Rickard Pettersson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nicklas Kleen was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Kasper Deckbergh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustaf Alebäck having to interfere. If Rickard Pettersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
