After 3 minutes of play, Sunhultsbrunn's Richard Lindström made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rutger Simonsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rutger Simonsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Hääger, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Kevin Hääger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Kim Browald took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Robert Lindman to make any attempt to save it. Slutarp's Rutger Simonsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Hääger in the 17th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bengt-Arne Mattsson got free with Robert Lindman in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bengt-Arne Mattsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Lindman having to interfere. In the 22nd match minute, Sunhultsbrunn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sören Holmgren to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the match, Slutarp's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Lindström came free, but Rutger Simonsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sunhultsbrunn's Robert Lindman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Sunhultsbrunn from getting a goal against them. Richard Lindström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bengt-Arne Mattsson got free with Robert Lindman in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Richard Lindström might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rutger Simonsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Richard Lindström ran back to his position shaking his head. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kevin Hääger stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kim Browald in the 54th minute of play forced Sunhultsbrunn's goalkeeper Robert Lindman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Slutarp's Rutger Simonsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Hääger in the 61st minute of play. Kim Browald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Lindman having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Richard Lindström made a precise shot to the right of Rutger Simonsson. Slutarp's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Slutarp's Rutger Simonsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Hääger in the 70th minute of play. Bengt-Arne Mattsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Robert Lindman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee ignored Sunhultsbrunn's protests and gave Ivar Adelsköld a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd minute, Ivar Adelsköld hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Sven-Olof Algren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robert Lindman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt-Arne Mattsson in the 83rd minute of the match. After 85 played minutes Kevin Hääger rounded Slutarp's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-5. In the 96th minute there was a penalty for Slutarp. Emil Walmarsson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Robert Lindman. 2-5. The Sunhultsbrunn supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sunhultsbrunn would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
