In the 4th minute, Per-Olof Fristedt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henry Grep was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Valdemar Martinsson sped through Larsberg IF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Henry Grep. Valdemar Martinsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Henry Grep tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th match minute, Larsberg IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Michael Lindqvist to maneuver through the defense. Henry Grep showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Olof Fristedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Folke Gunnarsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Henry Grep didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valdemar Martinsson went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 25th match minute, Andralaget was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mårten Pihlblad to maneuver through the defense. After 26 minutes, Karl-Michael Lindqvist made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Andralaget's Carl Bergqvist tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kjell-Arne Hedlund during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After recieving a nice pass, Andralaget's Sixten Deckbergh tried to score from far away in the 31st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Henry Grep took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdemar Martinsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mårten Pihlblad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute, Valdemar Martinsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valdemar Martinsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Henry Grep tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kjell-Arne Hedlund got his second yellow card in the match during the 42nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Andralaget booed when Larsberg IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kjell-Arne Hedlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Andralaget's Sixten Deckbergh tried to score from far away in the 43rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Folke Gunnarsson was the one to do the kick off. When Valdemar Martinsson came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Andralaget fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valdemar Martinsson couldn't finish the play. Valdemar Martinsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Henry Grep tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Valdemar Martinsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Andralaget getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Sixten Deckbergh hit a great ball. Valdemar Martinsson was extremely unlucky when he, in the 69th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The audience was convinced that Valdemar Martinsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henry Grep was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Valdemar Martinsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 81 minutes, Karl-Michael Lindqvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Larsberg IF and the Andralaget players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 81 played minutes Larsberg IF got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Michael Lindqvist. The supporters of Larsberg IF booed when Andralaget was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mårten Pihlblad didn't get a good kick on the ball. Larsberg IF's Henry Grep proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Larsberg IF from getting a goal against them. Henry Grep had great luck who in the 90thth minute grab hold of the ball when Ralf Siggesson from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 93rd minute, Valdemar Martinsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Valdemar Martinsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Andralaget could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Larsberg IF throughout the match.
