After a rather tough play, TOPPTRIM's Jan-Ove Wikander got a free kick in the 16th minute. Nils Vallin hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute, Ulf Säfström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tommy Utter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 33 minutes into the match, Ulf Säfström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joseph Nordal. Öxabäck's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ulf Säfström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tommy Utter in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joseph Nordal saved Öxabäck from getting behind. Öxabäck's Joseph Nordal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charles Ström in the 38th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Tommy Utter had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joseph Nordal. Öxabäck's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tommy Utter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Nils-Emil Sundström made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Håkan Fribäck sent off a good shot on target. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Tommy Utter made the kick off in the second half. Öxabäck's Joseph Nordal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulf Säfström in the 62nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulf Säfström in the 63rd minute of play forced Öxabäck's goalkeeper Joseph Nordal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kristian Viberg's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Joseph Nordal skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Håkan Fribäck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Tommy Utter managed to get in a good position for a shot. TOPPTRIM's supporters rose to their feet, but Tommy Utter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joseph Nordal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 83rd minute, Jan-Ove Olofsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filiph Myhr in the 91st minute of play forced TOPPTRIM's goalkeeper Nils-Emil Sundström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tommy Utter got free with Joseph Nordal in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. TOPPTRIM played a much better game than Öxabäck and deserved their victory. The Öxabäck players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
