Eskil Majman kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Tommy Utter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erling Nyqvist having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, TOPPTRIM's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Helander came free, but Nils-Emil Sundström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute, TOPPTRIM's Ulf Säfström dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Tommy Utter might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erling Nyqvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tommy Utter ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kristian Viberg in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erling Nyqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 22 minutes into the match, Samuel Alebeck had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nils-Emil Sundström. TOPPTRIM's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Samuel Alebeck was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Erling Nyqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tommy Utter in the 25th minute. If Ulf Säfström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Båstad BF's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ulf Säfström 38 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. After a rather tough play, Båstad BF's Samuel Alebeck got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 46th minute Ulf Säfström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erling Nyqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Båstad BF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 48th minute, when Charles Ström scored to the left of an out of position Erling Nyqvist, making the score, 3-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eskil Majman made a kick off. If Ulf Säfström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Erling Nyqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulf Säfström, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. If Ulf Säfström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the match, Tommy Utter had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erling Nyqvist. Båstad BF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tommy Utter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. A collision led to TOPPTRIM getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Gustav Biörkman hit a great ball. The supporters of TOPPTRIM booed when Båstad BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andy Termander didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ulf Säfström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the game, TOPPTRIM's Kristian Viberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erling Nyqvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. TOPPTRIM's Nils-Emil Sundström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save TOPPTRIM from getting a goal against them. Tommy Utter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Erling Nyqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
