An unexpectedly hard shot by Ragnar Fernkvist in the 3rd minute of play forced FC Saltängen's goalkeeper Marc Hellsing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilhelm Håning was extremely unlucky when he, in the 5th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Ragnar Fernkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When FC Saltängen's Wilhelm Håning in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Die Toten Hosen's goalie prevented a goal. Wilhelm Håning sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th match minute, Die Toten Hosen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Måns Bäcklin to maneuver through the defense. If Wilhelm Håning had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kenny Lindblom got free with Jonathan Strömberg in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 36 minutes into the match, Wilhelm Håning dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Strömberg, 1-0. Marc Hellsing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens-Åke Skark, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wilhelm Håning was the one to do the kick off. Wilhelm Håning received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Jonathan Strömberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Kenny Lindblom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of FC Saltängen booed when Die Toten Hosen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Måns Bäcklin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute Wilhelm Håning shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Strömberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kenny Lindblom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Jonathan Strömberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Die Toten Hosen's Jonathan Strömberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kenny Lindblom in the 71st minute of play. Kenny Lindblom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Strömberg having to interfere. When Eddie Ekerot fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Die Toten Hosen's protests and gave Eddie Ekerot a yellow card for diving instead. Eddie Ekerot kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 76th minute Kenny Lindblom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Strömberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Die Toten Hosen's zone, Kenny Lindblom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Strömberg came out of the goal and Kenny Lindblom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to FC Saltängen getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Rudolf Palm hit a great ball. When Kjell Bjurström fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Saltängen's protests and gave Kjell Bjurström a yellow card for diving instead. After 88 played minutes FC Saltängen got a freekick which was hit by Kjell Bjurström. The audience held their breath when Kjell Hellström in the 90th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Marc Hellsing's left hand side. Wilhelm Håning recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 96th minute Kenny Lindblom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Strömberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Saltängen had won after a very even match.
