After 13 played minutes FC Saltängen got a freekick which was hit by Kenny Lindblom. In the 14th match minute, Limmared was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Hultin to maneuver through the defense. Ola Biörkman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henning Fagrell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilhelm Håning, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Ola Biörkman sped through FC Saltängen's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marc Hellsing. Kenny Lindblom succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 32nd playminute. With a little luck, Limmared's Henning Fagrell got control of the ball when Kenny Lindblom tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jörgen Tidén took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marc Hellsing. FC Saltängen's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. FC Saltängen's Marc Hellsing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ola Biörkman in the 41st minute of play. Marc Hellsing didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ola Biörkman went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Limmared's Ola Biörkman got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Limmared were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ola Biörkman made a kick off. Henning Fagrell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilhelm Håning, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ola Biörkman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marc Hellsing having to interfere. Ola Biörkman struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Marc Hellsing didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Limmared. Rutger Skålberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marc Hellsing having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, FC Saltängen's goal looked a bit too open when Ola Biörkman came free, but Marc Hellsing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Marc Hellsing managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when Limmared's Ola Biörkman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Saltängen reached it. After 76 played minutes Limmared got a freekick which was hit by Michael Hultin. Dan Bock was shown his second yellow card after 79 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match.
