The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Conny Österlund made the kick off in the second half. Rickard Göransson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erling Tham having to make a save. A long shot from Pål Vallengren in the 84th minute of play was well struck, but Sven-Ove Fastesson made a really good save at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dick Gadd in the 86th minute of play forced Inverterad YB's goalkeeper Sven-Ove Fastesson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sven-Ove Fastesson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dick Gadd, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. With a little luck, Inverterad YB's Sven-Ove Fastesson got control of the ball when Anders Åman tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven Karlsson in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erling Tham saved Diskho Ducks from getting behind. Conny Österlund kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Diskho Ducks had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
