Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Valter Beckeman got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Valter Beckeman made a precise shot to the right of Sven-Ove Fastesson. Inverterad YB's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Sven Karlsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niklas Sjödin having to interfere. Sven Karlsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Niklas Sjödin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in The Tigers FC's zone, Sven Karlsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niklas Sjödin came out of the goal and Sven Karlsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, The Tigers FC's Valter Beckeman got a free kick in the 15th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Rasmus Lundberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Niklas Sjödin. That made the score 1-1 in the 16 minute of play. Sven Karlsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Niklas Sjödin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sven Karlsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Niklas Sjödin made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Rickard Göransson sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by August Berggren in the 30th minute of play forced Inverterad YB's goalkeeper Sven-Ove Fastesson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sven Karlsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niklas Sjödin having to interfere. Sven-Ove Fastesson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Olof Bäckström in the 44th minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Inverterad YB's goal looked a bit too open when August Berggren came free, but Sven-Ove Fastesson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes into the game, The Tigers FC's Jan-Olof Bäckström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sven-Ove Fastesson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After the first half The Tigers FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sven Karlsson was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rickard Göransson in the 53rd minute of play forced The Tigers FC's goalkeeper Niklas Sjödin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Inverterad YB's Sven-Ove Fastesson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Inverterad YB from getting a goal against them. Rasmus Lundberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Niklas Sjödin having to make a save. In the 68th match minute, Inverterad YB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robin Hedström to maneuver through the defense. Sven-Ove Fastesson made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Jan-Olof Bäckström sent off a good shot on target. 76 minutes into the game, Robin Mellberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Inverterad YB's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Tigers FC the free kick. August Berggren took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sven-Ove Fastesson. Inverterad YB's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sven-Ove Fastesson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaf Vennerdal in the 79th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven Karlsson in the 83rd minute of play forced The Tigers FC's goalkeeper Niklas Sjödin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sven Karlsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niklas Sjödin having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, The Tigers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sven Karlsson came free, but Niklas Sjödin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. The Tigers FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
