In the 19th minute, Gabriel Pil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Hökerum BK getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Henrik Olsmann hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Holmgren in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hans Larsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 25 minutes into the match, Hökerum BK's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Holmgren came free, but Hans Larsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30thth minute of the game Vilgot Ahlstedt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BK Flagg's Robin Apelkvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Hökerum BK's zone, Gabriel Pil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hans Larsson came out of the goal and Gabriel Pil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hökerum BK's Hans Larsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Holmgren in the 38th minute of play. In the 44th minute, Magne Helström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The attack was good, but when Vilgot Ahlstedt in the 46th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After a rather tough play, BK Flagg's Samuel Lustig got a free kick in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Vilgot Ahlstedt made the kick off in the second half.
