Andreas Lundin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Hammarbäck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 6 played minutes Årjäng got a freekick which was hit by Kaj Billvall. Ingvar Hök stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Magnus Kling's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Ingvar Hök was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Per-Arne Håkansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Ingvar Hök tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Bernt Viklund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Årjäng's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernt Viklund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andreas Lundin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alexander Hammarbäck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magnus Kling in the 46th minute of play forced Årjäng's goalkeeper Ingvar Hök to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alexander Hammarbäck stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Flädervägen BK's Magnus Kling got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Årjäng's Ingvar Hök played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magnus Kling in the 53rd minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Årjäng's Alexander Hammarbäck sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andreas Lundin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bernt Viklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Andreas Lundin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Hammarbäck, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Andreas Lundin made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Bernt Viklund sent off a good shot on target. In the 81st minute, Ernst Ahlerot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Svante Bergström, 82 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 85 minutes, Andreas Lundin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 91st minute, Alexander Hammarbäck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bengt-Åke Rudberg's late challenge caught a Flädervägen BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bengt-Åke Rudberg helped the player get up and apologised. After 96 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Årjäng! The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Flädervägen BK were victorious despite being under pressure from Årjäng for much of the match.
