The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paul Tingelholm to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Bäcknarnas IK booed when Åkarp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tor Abrahamsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paul Tingelholm couldn't finish the play. Bäcknarnas IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Mark Pil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Billy Hellström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paul Tingelholm in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Billy Hellström saved Åkarp from getting behind. After 91 played minutes Åkarp got a freekick which was hit by Tor Abrahamsson. Bäcknarnas IK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
