The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ture Falck to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ture Falck in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Billy Hellström saved Åkarp from getting behind. 53 minutes into the game, Ture Falck cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Billy Hellström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bengt-Rune Bäck in the 60thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Joel Persson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
