Gents's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Thor Kilman 3 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Kaj Berggren made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Åke Hasselqvist sent off a good shot on target. Gents's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Thor Kilman scored to the left of an out of position Kaj Berggren, making the score, 2-0. Kaj Berggren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frans Bergfeldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agne Lundin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustav Bergstedt in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frans Bergfeldt in the 20th minute of play forced Gents's goalkeeper Kaj Berggren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Dark Castle BK's Thor Kilman dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. In the 26th minute Thor Kilman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaj Berggren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Greger Viberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gents's supporters rose to their feet, but Greger Viberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Agne Lundin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 33 minutes into the match, Gents's goalkeeper Kaj Berggren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Lindberg. 33 minutes into the game, Gents's Gustav Bergstedt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Agne Lundin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Kaj Berggren was a little too slow when David Lindberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 5-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Dark Castle BK's Frans Bergfeldt slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kaj Berggren. That made the score 6-1 after 42 minutes of play. In the 45th minute, Åke Hasselqvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dark Castle BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Greger Viberg to make the kick off. Agne Lundin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Greger Viberg in the 51st minute of play. Karl-Johan Svensson charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karl-Johan Svensson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Dark Castle BK booed when Gents was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Johan Svensson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Åke Hasselqvist struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Kaj Berggren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dark Castle BK. Dark Castle BK's Agne Lundin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Dark Castle BK from getting a goal against them. Gents's Kaj Berggren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Lindberg in the 63rd minute of play. Kaj Berggren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thor Kilman in the 65th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, Åke Hasselqvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kaj Berggren. Gents's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Åke Hasselqvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-1. In the 71st minute, Thor Kilman made a precise shot to the right of Kaj Berggren. Gents's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-1. David Lindberg scored 10-1 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kaj Berggren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kaj Berggren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thor Kilman in the 81st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Åke Hasselqvist in the 85th minute of play forced Gents's goalkeeper Kaj Berggren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kristoffer Kuse hit a great ball. Gustav Bergstedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
