Alf Ståhlman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 23rd minute of the match Niclas Skarkman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alf Ståhlman skillfully saved the ball. Norrfjärden's Herbert Hedlund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Norrfjärden from getting a goal against them. Karl-Axel Rosendal kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Alf Ståhlman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karl-Åke Persson's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. In the 54th minute Eric Wallgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alf Ståhlman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Niclas Skarkman fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Norrfjärden's protests and gave Niclas Skarkman a yellow card for diving instead. After 89 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Norrfjärden! Svante Bergqvist shot the penalty kick right outside the post. The supporters of Dösjebro booed when Norrfjärden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Holger Björkkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. 98 minutes into the match, Leo Abrahamsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Herbert Hedlund. Norrfjärden's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leo Abrahamsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Dösjebro had won after a very even match.
