In the 28th match minute, Korskrogen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per Dalman to maneuver through the defense. 30 minutes into the match, Angkor Wat FC's Adrian Åkesson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Göran Tingelholm narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Angkor Wat FC booed when Korskrogen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per-Erik Bivall didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adrian Åkesson made a kick off. In the 54th minute Rikard Alberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Göran Tingelholm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute, Morgan Thorsberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adrian Åkesson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 61 minutes, Adrian Åkesson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Angkor Wat FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrian Åkesson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aaron Rudberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anders Öberg having to interfere. When Arman Fågel fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Korskrogen's protests and gave Arman Fågel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 70th match minute, Korskrogen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arman Fågel to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Angkor Wat FC's Karl-Ove Almkvist tried to score from far away in the 71st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Adrian Åkesson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Niklas Hedlund came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Korskrogen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niklas Hedlund couldn't finish the play. In the 77th minute, Roy Wikander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute, Niklas Hedlund fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Niklas Hedlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Anders Öberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aaron Rudberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anders Öberg having to interfere. Göran Tingelholm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Bjursell in the 97th minute of the match. Korskrogen's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
