Spectators: 7224 (Terracing: 5529, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 0) Hultagårds IF's Allan Nilsson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nils-Erik Stor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Magnus Hedvall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jan-Erik Löfskog kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the game, Erik Säv was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. WAO United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hultagårds IF the free kick. After 16 minutes, Samuel Termander mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the WAO United and the Hultagårds IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Samuel Termander kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. When Allan Nilsson came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Hultagårds IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Allan Nilsson couldn't finish the play. Reine Skager blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Magnus Hedvall having to make a save. If Reine Skager had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Per-Arne Kjellberg hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reine Skager in the 27th minute of play forced Hultagårds IF's goalkeeper Magnus Hedvall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Nils-Erik Stor notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Hultagårds IF's Magnus Hedvall. Magnus Hedvall was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 37 minutes, Nils-Erik Stor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. WAO United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nils-Erik Stor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 38th minute, Sten Lindqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reine Skager might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Magnus Hedvall. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Reine Skager ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Hultagårds IF getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Viktor Pihlberg hit a great ball. Filiph Åkerström struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Walter Simonsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hultagårds IF. Allan Nilsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Nils-Erik Stor made the kick off in the second half. If Nils-Erik Stor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hultagårds IF's Magnus Hedvall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils-Erik Stor in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Allan Nilsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hultagårds IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Allan Nilsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Walter Simonsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, WAO United's Erik Säv got a free kick in the 64th minute. Hultagårds IF's Filiph Åkerström got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, WAO United's goal looked a bit too open when Allan Nilsson came free, but Walter Simonsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Samuel Termander was shown his second yellow card after 70 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to WAO United getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Samuel Termander hit a great ball. Nils-Erik Stor struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Magnus Hedvall didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for WAO United. Reine Skager sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the match, Nils-Erik Stor dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Magnus Hedvall, 1-2. Reine Skager might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Magnus Hedvall. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Reine Skager ran back to his position shaking his head. Reine Skager fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magnus Hedvall having to interfere.
