Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Mårten Ahlberg made the kick off and thus started the match. Staffanstorp's Adrian Asplund got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind WAO United's goalkeeper Walter Simonsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 11th minute, Joel Jansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reine Skager took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Börje Hedvall. Börje Hedvall dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Joel Jansson hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Staffanstorp's zone, Nils-Erik Stor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Börje Hedvall came out of the goal and Nils-Erik Stor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Reine Skager had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. WAO United's Walter Simonsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mårten Ahlberg in the 36th minute of play. Reine Skager sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nils-Erik Stor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Börje Hedvall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Börje Hedvall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils-Erik Stor in the 42nd minute of the match. Nils-Erik Stors short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Börje Hedvall to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Samuel Termander fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored WAO United's protests and gave Samuel Termander a yellow card for diving instead. Samuel Termander hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in WAO United's zone, Adrian Asplund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walter Simonsson came out of the goal and Adrian Asplund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mårten Ahlberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nils-Erik Stor to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Nils-Erik Stor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The WAO United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 57th minute Nils-Erik Stor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Börje Hedvall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nils-Erik Stor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When WAO United's Reine Skager in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Börje Hedvall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils-Erik Stor, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Nils-Erik Stor struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Börje Hedvall didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for WAO United. In the 90th minute Reine Skager shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Börje Hedvall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the WAO United players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
