Johannes Hurtig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Krister Sillén having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Virgin Steelers's goal looked a bit too open when Örjan Wållander came free, but Krister Sillén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Örjan Wållander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Mjöbäck RK's goalkeeper Jimmy Apelquist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Örjan Wållander might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Krister Sillén. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Örjan Wållander ran back to his position shaking his head. If Johannes Hurtig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Krister Sillén took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johannes Hurtig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Virgin Steelers's Krister Sillén played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Örjan Wållander in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Virgin Steelers's goal looked a bit too open when Johannes Hurtig came free, but Krister Sillén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivan Bruse charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ivan Bruse the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Johannes Hurtig got free with Krister Sillén in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Örjan Wållander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Johannes Hurtig took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Krister Sillén. Krister Sillén dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 77th minute, Ivan Bruse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Jakob Josefsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Virgin Steelers's supporters rose to their feet, but Jakob Josefsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jimmy Apelquist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 80th minute, Kalle Öman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Johannes Hurtig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 83 played minutes Virgin Steelers got a freekick which was hit by Kalle Öman. An unexpected shot in the 88th minute by Johannes Hurtig got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Johannes Hurtig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mjöbäck RK were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
