Magne Haström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evert Göransson in the 31st minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Flower City's goal looked a bit too open when Urban Berggren came free, but Robin Bållström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Flower City's zone, Mats Dahlman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robin Bållström came out of the goal and Mats Dahlman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mats Dahlman kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Magne Haström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evert Göransson in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kurt Wall to make the kick off. Kurt Wall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Robin Bållström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Grytgöl's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Valdemar Biörk fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Kurt Wall came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Grytgöl fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kurt Wall couldn't finish the play. Adrian Abrahamsson kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Kurt Wall struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Robin Bållström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grytgöl. In the 77th minute, Evert Göransson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Magne Haström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Evert Göransson's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. 93 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Flower City's Evert Göransson fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
