An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Åke Västberg in the 8th minute of play forced Frisörens Saxar's goalkeeper Hugo Gustafsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugo Gustafsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vidar Trillkott went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ola Lind in the 16th minute of play forced Alstermo's goalkeeper Anthon Gunnarsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. William Berg charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed William Berg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 17th match minute, Alstermo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by William Berg to maneuver through the defense. Henrik Hermansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peder Blomqvist walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Peder Blomqvist's late challenge caught a Alstermo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Peder Blomqvist helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Frisörens Saxar getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Peder Blomqvist hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Karl-Åke Västberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alstermo's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl-Åke Västberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugo Gustafsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hugo Gustafsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vidar Trillkott in the 32nd minute of the match. Karl-Åke Västberg took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hugo Gustafsson. Hugo Gustafsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Hugo Gustafsson went to the wrong direction when Jens-Ola Kullgren was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Hugo Gustafsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Åke Västberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vidar Trillkott to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Rolf Blom's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anthon Gunnarsson was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Alstermo's William Berg got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 74 minutes into the match, Frisörens Saxar's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Anselius came free, but Hugo Gustafsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emil Anselius charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emil Anselius the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 78 played minutes Alstermo got a freekick which was hit by Emil Anselius. Vidar Trillkott kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Vidar Trillkott hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anthon Gunnarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolf Blom in the 82nd minute of play. Hugo Gustafsson made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Karl-Åke Västberg sent off a good shot on target. Hugo Gustafsson was a little too slow when Emil Anselius got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 1-4. If Peder Blomqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
