Stefan Biörling's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 15thth minute, Karl Ahlberg skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Stefan Biörling kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Malcolm Sundling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ragnar Fredriksson having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Clownfiesta's goal looked a bit too open when Malcolm Sundling came free, but Ragnar Fredriksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Malcolm Sundling came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Smedjebacken BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Malcolm Sundling couldn't finish the play. Ragnar Fredriksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingvar Törnkvist in the 33rd minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Ingvar Törnkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 46th minute Sven-Edvin Bergqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl Ahlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Smedjebacken BF's zone, Stefan Biörling stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl Ahlberg came out of the goal and Stefan Biörling tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Ingvar Törnkvist made the kick off in the second half. If Stefan Biörling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Malcolm Sundling scored 0-1 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ragnar Fredriksson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Stefan Biörling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl Ahlberg having to interfere. Sven-Edvin Bergqvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Karl Ahlberg having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Malcolm Sundling got free with Ragnar Fredriksson in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Conny Salqvist during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Conny Salqvist hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Ingvar Törnkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Ragnar Fredriksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Malcolm Sundling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Clownfiesta getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Joseph Granqvist hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Malcolm Sundling managed to get in a good position for a shot. Smedjebacken BF's supporters rose to their feet, but Malcolm Sundling was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ragnar Fredriksson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 85 minutes into the match, Smedjebacken BF's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Biörling came free, but Karl Ahlberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ragnar Fredriksson came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Smedjebacken BF's Ingvar Törnkvist. But to his dismay, Ingvar Törnkvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Smedjebacken BF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
